Eike ‘Timbolt’ Heimpel Leaves League of Analytics – Statements by Timbolt and Bridgeburner

Eike ‘Timbolt’ Heimpel: “After founding League of Analytics together with Florian, the early responses were very positive. We kept improving the site, adding content and innovating new statistics. I spent a lot of time on this project over the last months and had a blast doing so. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that I announce my departure from League of Analytics, as I will be joining the EU LCS team at Riot Games to work as a Stats Coordinator. It is a great opportunity for me to work in the field of League of Legends eSports and allows me to built upon the knowledge gained from my time here. I hope to provide great content, stats and ideas for years to come. While I had an amazing time working with Florian and am sad to walk away from LoA, I am excited to start a new chapter in my life and am looking forward to working with the EU LCS team in Berlin.”

Florian ‘Bridgeburner’ Dorner: “Working with Eike on League of Analytics over the past year was a pleasure. When we started LoA, I knew that Eike would love to work in eSports full-time. That his dream came true so quickly is amazing and exciting. His enthusiasm, creativity, and professionalism will be badly missed by me. However, I will strive to keep the quality of our content as high as if he never left. I wish you all the best at Riot.”
